Purpose: Inauguration Attendance
President Hichilema attended the inauguration of President Samia Suluhu Hassan for her second term as President of Tanzania. Hichilema was one of four regional leaders who attended the swearing-in ceremony, a visit seen as part of a broader regional diplomatic outreach ahead of Zambia's 2026 general elections.
